A warm and calm evening was the catalyst for another good turnout at the Wed night TT series at Kairanga. Again, fast times and some PBs were the order of the day.

Fastest time went to Alex West, at 15:31, followed by the usual suspects (Robert and Nate). Ross Rainham cracked 17 min for the first time, showing many of the youngsters how to ride a TT. Other rides of note were Lilly Lopez Lozano, who rode her best time by 3 min; Fergus Lloyd (2 min quicker) ; Nick Tuck (50 seconds); Michael Richmond (around 2:30), Rhys Ransom (over 4 min!); Kyra Craine (90 sec); while both Fergus’s (Allan and Washington Smith) had PBs, as did many others.

Next week is the last week and point will still count. Prizes ($$$) will be handed out at the AGM/Track Prizegiving Night on Wed 25th March.

Another fine evening for the Bike Manawatu Wed Night TT, but a little more wind than the previous week.
A total of 40 starters for the evening and some good times posted. Alex West pipped Robert Stannard by one second for fastest time.
Others to post impressive times were Mitchell Kinghorn and Carne Groube. Tom Pirie and Nicholas Tuck did best season times, and in the women, Gabbie Bahler rode under 20 min.
Good also to see some new riders there.

Another fine night on Wednesday for the time trial.  The winds were light, however a tail wind on the outward leg threw a spanner in the works for many, making it hard for regular riders to better their previous times.  Barry Gilliland was one of the exceptions, maintaining his perfect score of 2 points/week!  Alex West had the fastest time of the week, with 15:34, but the long standing record is proving elusive for the "young guns".  Thanks again to all those regular helpers who are becoming rather expert at setting up and taking the times, and even the entries!"

FINALLY, a fast night!  Out of 42 riders, only 6 were unable to better their previous times.  This is our biggest turn out yet, with 9 riders, who have obviously been saving themselves for "the fast week" turning out for the first time.  But the record still stands, despite a growing number of disc wheels rumbling out and back each week.  Maybe next week there will be a tailwind both ways....

26 riders turned up for the second of this year’s ITTs on Wed night.  The forecast of a warm sunny day promised some fast times, but the appearance a solid easterly put paid to any records, at least as far as Robert Stannard was concerned.  Into a block headwind on homeward leg down Kairanga Rd he was 6 seconds off the current record of 15:23 min.  Other impressive times went to Ross Rainham 17:49 and the evergreen (and seemingly getting faster) Neville Weir (16:58).  Improver of the night went to Peita Ransom, who went nearly 2 min faster this week.
