A beautiful evening. A big crowd again. We had the feeling the changed registration and starting format worked well. please do give feedback so we can improve on the performance. thanks again to the helpers at registration start, finish and the turn. The Rangitikei River Loop Classic was held on Sunday, October 24 in near perfect conditions. The ride starts in Hunterville and immediately sends riders up the Rangatira Hill, this sorts out the bunch very quickly and much to his surprise Mark Waterland led the riders over the top of the Rangatira Hill with locals, Kent Croote, Steve Stannard and Brent Bismarck close on his wheel, along with Josh Page (the last winner of the Twins Peak tour) and one or two others.

MANAWATU MASTERS CYCLING CLUB - CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS
SUNDAY 28 FEBRUARY 2010 - INDIVIDUAL TIME TRIAL 20KM
The first MMCC championship event of 2010 on Sunday 28 February 2010 was the ITT 20km on the Ashhurst - Pohangina Valley Road out and back course. Entries from club members were only 17, 2 women and 15 men, which was disappointing. We were joined by 5 non-members and nearly 60 Manawatu Schools cyclists competing in a Teams (2-up) TT 20km on the same course, both organisations helped run the joint event which went very smoothly. The event started promptly at 9AM in good conditions, slightly overcast with light northerly wind, MMCC members went first with all competitors finished before 11AM when we visited the Domain Cafe to announce the results.
