I’ve been thinking for a while that the club news articles are a bit hidden.  So I decided to look for a “News display” module. 

I chose “Ultimate Content Display” which can “fetch and display your Joomla! content or newsfeed items in a jQuery-based cross-fader/slider!”

Essentially it shows a slideshow of the 6 newest news articles, with a nice fade between articles.
