Bike Manawatu Carnival Programme

Its only one and half weeks to go until our ‘Open Track Club Carnival’ on Sunday 22^nd November… enter online at https://www.webscorer.com/register?raceid=225744 or on the day by 11.50am

Entry fee is $10.00 with lots of prizes up for grabs. Come along, enjoy the atmosphere and have a go at some fun, competitive racing.

Are you interested in becoming a Level 1 Qualified Traffic Controller?

The Greasy Chain Charitable Trust would like to offer to pay for the training of individuals to become a Level 1 Qualified Traffic Controller in December 2020.

It is the NZ Transport Agency (NZTA) Level 1 Basic Traffic Controller (TC), which covers the standards and operating procedures required by the Code of Practice for Temporary Traffic Management (COP/TTM). This one-day course promotes safe working practices, standards and operating procedures at roadwork sites.
All individuals require this qualification if they are to be involved in the temporary traffic management process  (which relates to most road cycling events).

This course is also the pre-requisite for entry requirement for people wanting further training to Level 1 Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS).

In return, we would ask that the individuals would kindly help with events surrounding the Gravel and Tar in the future. 
These events historically occur during the Wellington Anniversary weekend in January each year – and is confirmed for the 23rd January 2021.
